A lot of the workouts are tough, but they have helped me learn so much about myself. If I’m not in a good place in my own mind, it is absolutely impossible to help someone else. As a senior member of our program, many younger or newer kids look to me to lead. I always knew I could help [others] from a technical standpoint, but the coaches at FYR Denver helped me realize that mentally and emotionally, I have a lot to offer.
