Repost @originaltamara In two weeks I will be running the Denver's Colfax Marathon - all 26.2 miles 😳. I am NOT doing this for myself. I hate running. I never get the runner's high. I have hips.

I am doing this for a youth charity I am incredibly passionate about - Forging Youth Resilience!

Why?

Because, I believe every child should have the opportunity to compete on the playing field of life. FYR helps make sure at-risk and underserved youth gain the confidence, belief, tools, and abilities to successfully tackle life's challenges through Crossfit-based programs. I give my time to helping more kids gain access to this program, my energy to coaching the incredible youth athletes, and my heart to every kid I meet. They have changed my life for the better, let's do the same for them!
